Manager Director, Regulatory Risk
Job Responsibilities:
Provide regulatory compliance advisory services to capital markets institutions
* Develop and execute go to market strategies related to regulatory reform initiatives including trading and markets regulation
* Participate in business development and relationship management efforts, and write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful recommendations
* Contribute professional articles to industry and regulatory publications, write white papers on regulatory issues and developments and prepare regulatory practice letters addressing current developments
* Take a lead role in the development and implementation of new compliance methodologies and protocols as laws change and new regulations emerge
* Participate in the development and delivery of specialized internal and external training on regulatory issues
Qualifications:
* Seven years of related work experience in the industry and/or with regulatory agency
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
* Strong technical knowledge of regulatory requirements and understanding of trading rules such as Reg M, Trade Reporting, Reg SHO, and other trading related regulations
* Experience in managing projects and teams to successful outcomes

* Provide tax compliance and advisory services partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide Insurance industry knowledge and experience
* Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
* Build and manage client relationships; advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice
* Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
* Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets
Qualifications:
* Five years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
