Job Responsibilities
* Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other mergers and acquisitions activities
* Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on delivering due diligence and tax structuring services and communicates findings and opportunities to clients
* Work with and assist other senior members of the M&A; Tax practice with various technical tax issues dealing with consolidated returns, S Corps, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs
Qualifications
* Five years of federal tax and/or mergers and acquisition experience in a public accounting firm, a corporate tax department, or a law firm
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
* Licensed CPA or J.D./ LL.M. (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn’t currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)

Job Responsibilities
* Help execute financial and accounting analysis and process improvement(s) associated with one or more of the following financial management functional areas: budgeting and forecasting, financial close and consolidation, management and financial reporting, cash management and program accounting, working capital management, shared services, and/or financial transformation
* Active participation in the development of business specifications for product and industry topics listed in above bullet
* Assist with the creation of proposals and other business development activities
Qualifications
* Seven years of combined advisory or relevant industry experience in financial management
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university; CPA preferred
* Experience in business development and large scale change initiatives
* Demonstrated experience directing meaningful process and strategy improvements

* Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various Financial Services clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants
* Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners
* Identify performance improvement opportunities
* Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
Qualifications
* Two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
* BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university and eligible to sit for the CPA exam in their home office state
* Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
* Strong knowledge and experience of audits within the Financial Services Sector
