Job Overview: Full-time position; Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of Packaging equipment to ensure customers receive a complete and quality newspaper product and contributes to the division’s effort in attaining the goals and objectives contained in the current division operating plan.

Job Duties & Responsibilities (among others)

• Perform the duties of hopper feeding when assigned to the inserter
• Ensure that postal walk sequencing integrity is maintained during production of TMC product
• Maintain correct housekeeping procedures including wood skid disposal, sortation and stacking of cardboard dividers and refuse removal

Job Qualifications/Requirements (among others)

• Should have at least a high school education or equivalent related experience
• Must be skilled in inserting and press line operations, odd package make up, use of manual or electric material handling equipment, proper interpretation of the daily insert and press plan and application of product zone identification labels
• Must be capable of standing for long durations, able to lift heavy objects and work irregular hours
