Job Overview of Duties & Responsibilities

The Bakery Clerk works closely with key personnel: Store Manager, Assistant Store Managers, Bakery Department Managers – to provide excellent customer service and a demonstrated passion for food. Some of the main duties include:

- will actively engage and educate customers about The Fresh Market's Bakery products;

- demonstrate a high level of integrity with department products, employees, vendors, and our customers.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

- preferably with previous experience in the food, grocery, bakery, or retail industry;

- basic math skills;

- highly motivated with a sense of urgency;

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment at all times with all levels of employees

- demonstrated people skills
