MSCI Opens Position for ETC Sales Support - NYC


A global independent provider of research-driven insights and tools for institutional investors, MSCI is in search of highly qualified, motivated candidates to fill in the position of ETF Sales Support – NYC location.

Job Overview:
The ETF Sales Support will be part of MSCI's Exchange Traded Products (ETP) Team and the broader Americas Client Coverage Team, and will work closely with the MSCI Index Product Team, Index Data Team, Marketing, Custom Index Team, Client Service and Sales Operations on a day-to-day basis. The ETF Sales Support is responsible for the supporting ETP Index Specialists, who manage day-to-day relationships with key investment management clients.

Job Specifications & Requirements

Responsibilities & Expectation include, among other tasks:
    Contracting, process management, client launch process management;
    Market analysis, competitor research, prospect research;
    Set-up and participate in prospective client and current client discussions;
    Manage pipeline opportunities, follow-up and generate contracts;
    Regular communication and coordination of projects with the broader MSCI Index Data Team
Work Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in a client-related role within the financial industry
    Experience with investment products
Knowledge & Skills:
    Knowledge of the financial markets, specifically listed products and basic understanding of ETFs;
    Expertise in Microsoft applications
    Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage the details within a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
    Undergraduate degree required; Finance or Economics degree preferred;
    MBA strongly preferred as well as a commitment to continuing education
