MSCI Has Opening for Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - Norman

  MSCI, with over 40 years of providing research-based indexes and analytics to help the world’s leading investors build and manage better portfolios, and where experience and knowledge meet challenge and fulfillment, is now looking for highly qualified candidates for the position of Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - Norman.

Job Overview:
The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for all aspects, including the design, engineering, administration, operating configuration management, stability, performance and exploration of new technologies that relate to the MSCI Infrastructure.

Job Specifications

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Cross Functional Engineering knowledge across the technology stack;
  • Technology design and implementation/integration into environment;
  • Identify key areas for automation and optimization to enhance productivity.
Skills and Knowledge Requirement:
  • Software engineering experience (use of coding language(ex. Python) or scripting skills to automate)
  • Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Infrastructure Engineering role
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Collaboration and Messaging tools and Technology
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Server OS (Unix/Linux/Microsoft)
Educational Attainment Requirement:
  • Technical or Engineering degree preferred (BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science)
Other qualifications: The successful candidate should also be
  • Good Team Player with excellent eye for detail
  • Should have a high degree of self-motivation, strong analytical and creative problem solving skill
  • Good Understanding of latest Datacenter technologies.
