Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration and execution of the purchasing program on behalf of the client
• Responsible ensuring compliance with company, client, and contractual requirements
• Some specific responsibilities include:
  • Establishing and maintaining approved suppliers including establishing, developing and maintaining positive vendor relationships
  • Researches, assesses and identifies new or more responsive vendors for products and services within areas of assigned responsibility

Job Qualifications (among others)

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field to purchasing.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in purchasing.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Experience purchasing in a Federal Government environment
