Pilgrim Place is a special senior community of individuals who have been called to serve in religious and charitable non-profit organizations. In cooperation with DiversityWorking, it is in search of candidates to fill the position listed below.

Pilgrim Place (www.pilgrimplace.org), a licensed continuing care retirement community in Claremont, CA seeks a Chief Executive Officer. More than 320 residents represent a diverse group of individuals who come together to continue on their life-long path of service and outreach. Founded in 1915, the not for profit organization provides a wide range of services across its 32 acre campus which is located within walking distance of Claremont Colleges, Claremont School of Theology, and the Claremont Village, a charming set of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and movie theaters. The city of Claremont is nestled at the base of the snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains, within a comfortable driving distance of beaches, hiking trails, and desert areas.

Preferred candidate qualifications include a master’s degree, 7-10 years executive leadership in a health & human services organization, financial acumen, experience in developing a high functioning leadership team, passion to serve older adults, and desire to work in a faith-based/spiritual setting. The position reports to a board of directors.
